The Spoken Word
Singing is linked
to both the language in which the opera is written in and to
the musical part of the opera.
Whe are presently living in a moment
where special attention is given to the conservation
of our past, our culture
and our artistic patrimony.
It is, thereby, inevitable that major importance
is given to the integrate knowledge between tha language and
the musical
text.
The correct balance between the language and music
may also arise in native speakers where they may often be confronted
whit remote linguistic structures that are no longer used in
modern repertoire.
This harmonious balance between vocal and musical
structures comes across throught a proper use of the spoken
word.
L'Atelier della Voce has exsperienced personnel that
work towards the proper use of the spoken language in the Italian
Opera.
