Italian in the Arts and through the Arts

Learning Italian in the Arts and through the Arts trains and offers specialised courses to singers, actors, speakers and for anyone interested in learning Italian in the Arts and Italian through the Arts . L'Atelier della Voce uses an innovative and global methodology that takes all aspects of language learning and vocal training into consideration. The course is aimed at Italians and foreigners who are interested in using a methodologyt:

-teaches Italian
-improves aural and oral language skills
-trains and provides fundamental speaking and vocal techniques
-successfully trains and helps singers and musicians

(The 'Electronic Ear' methodology increases aural perception of the frequencies and sounds that are specific to the Italian language)

Courses in Diction and Phonology
Because a good voice speaks for itself.

When we speak, our words produce a certain effect on the person listening to us.
The level of attention changes depending on the global message that we send out.
This is based on two fundamental elements:

a) the Meaning of our message (the contents)
b) the Form our words take on.

Reserarch has shown that in addition to the contents our message expresses, the form and the sound it transmits influences the level of attention, acceptance and the understanding we receive from others. The choice of words used, the phonation together with the various harmonic range possibilities, the rhythm in speech, the proper use of pauses, our diction and pronunciation go to make up the quality of our voice. These elements determine how successfully our message is received.

The courses offered by Atelier della Voce aim at bettering and maximizing how we use our verbal language skills.

The lessons (4 or 6 hour/sessions) are structured as follows:

1) Theoretical elements in language
2) Session in Audiovoicing
3) Active experimental seminars in sound and speech techniques.

Courses can be organized for Firms, Management Personnel, Music organizations (Singers, Actors, Speakers), Conference and Consultancy Activities on request for specific needs or aims.
